moqap.eu is a cloud-based 3D motion search engine designed to support the indexing, search, and retrieval of human motion data. It provides a practical way to work with motion recordings by enabling similarity-based search across motion datasets, alongside supporting motion processing operations required to prepare and manage such data.

The platform focuses on making motion search usable in practice. Motion data can be uploaded, processed into searchable representations, and queried through a unified environment that runs entirely in the cloud. This allows users to explore and compare motion content without needing to build or maintain specialised infrastructure.

moqap.eu has been developed as part of the 3D Motion-as-a-Service (3D MotaaS) project, which investigates how cloud technologies can be used to support scalable motion processing and content-based motion retrieval. The portal reflects a research-driven approach, with an emphasis on clarity, reproducibility, and extensibility rather than closed or proprietary workflows.
